Electrical vehicles (EVs)


The high-power electronic components in electric vehicles (EVs) demand efficient, cost-effective thermal management solutions that meet the highest safety standards. Power electronics (such as onboard chargers, DC-DC converters, and battery management systems) as well as the batteries themselves, require gap filler materials that not only enhance heat dissipation but also prevent electrical short circuits and offer exceptional flame-retardant properties.

With a UL 94 Flame Retardancy rating of V0 and excellent electrical insulating properties, CCL Olympics gap fillers provides a superior, but cost-effective, solution for EVs.

It contains various delicate electrical components, including processors, power transistors, and LEDs, which generate heat that must be dissipated to a heat sink. Effective heat dissipation prevents overheating and ensures the PCB operates efficiently and has a long lifespan.

CCL Olympic gap filler solutions are soft and inherently tacky materials designed to conform, using minimal force, to even the smallest surface irregularities between the heat source and heat sink. By filling these gaps completely, they virtually eliminate any interfacial resistance and optimize heat transfer, enhancing overall thermal performance.
