New: 8000 Thermal Conductive Series

CCL Olympic is growing and so is our product portfolio. We are proud to announce our newest product: The 8000 series.

The sustainable Thermal Interface Material

CCL Olympic is expanding rapidly and so is our product portfolio. We are excited to announce our latest product: The 8000 Series. In this article, we will showcase its key features and highlight the innovations that make the 8000 Series a standout in our portfolio.

Soft

The 8000 series is a tacky and very soft, acrylic Thermal Interface Material. The soft acrylic composition allows a low load during compression and it provides a tacky surface for optimal contact to any surface. The combination of intrinsic softness and its tacky surface makes it an ideal gap-filler material suitable for many applications.

Sustainable

Where this thermal pad really stands out from other thermal interface materials is that in addition to its performance, it is also sustainable. The 8000 series is based on CCL’s latest PURE™ Technology, which means that no plasticizers have been used but rather consists of durable acrylic polymers.

Product Features

  • Low compression force
  • Intrinsic adhesion
  • Electric insulator
  • Thermal conductivity of 2.0 W/m·K – 3.5 W/m·K
  • Flame retardant
  • No silicones
  • No solvents
  • No PFAS

Supply format

  • Sheets / Pads
  • Thickness from 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm
  • Thermal White
  • Dual liner configuration for optimal handling

Typical applications

Thermal interface materials are used to provide a preferential heat transfer path away from heat-generating components

  • PCB, CPU, GPU
  • Electric vehicle (EV) applications
  • Battery pack assembly
  • Mounting heat sinks and heat spreaders

The durable thermal pad

Like our other series, these 8000 thermal pads contain no silicones, solvents, or PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances). This brings many benefits, the most important one is that it is better for people and nature because no harmful substances are used.

Since this thermal interface material does not contain silicone, there is no silicone outgassing. In addition, by using acrylate instead of silicone, we have 50% less CO2 emissions.
